Chavez has the same strength as always, Maduro says / Chávez tiene la misma fuerza de siempre, dice Maduro

"I saw Chavez with the same strength as always", Vice president Nicolas Maduro said in an interview in Havana, Cuba, which was broadcast by the Caracas-based television network Telesur.
Maduro said that Venezuelan president has demanded information about the economic and political situation of the country as well as the swearing-in of elected governors which took place last week.
"President has an immense strength and if he is battling with such a strength, our people should do the same," he said.
Maduro said that Chavez "is conscious of the complexity of his post-operative state", twenty-one days after surgery in Cuba.
Since Vice president arrival in Havana on November 29, he has spoken about the socialist leader health condition, as he has requested on several occasions.
"Commander Chavez has expressly asked us to keep the people informed always with the truth, as hard as it may be. President is following his treatments, it is a complex situation and during these days, he has had light improvements and stationary situations," he said.
"We have trust and faith in God and the physicians that our Commander Hugo Chavez will continue to improve."
Maduro also demanded respect from right-wing sectors that have been speculating about the President's health and asked the people to get immunized against lies.
"Those who do not know how to respect, have no limits. That crazy Right thinks that a people uncontrolled of love transformed into rage, can benefit them. We ask our people to rely on the efforts we make. We have faith and hope that President will continue to improve," he said.
Vice president noted that "the biggest support (for President), besides prayer, is work: unity, battle and victory," while announcing he will return to country on January 2.

NOTIFAL/ (VENEZUELA) Coro, Estado Falcón.- "Yo vi a Chávez con la misma fuerza de siempre", Vice presidente, Nicolás Maduro, dijo en una entrevista en La Habana, Cuba, que fue transmitido por la televisión Telesur con sede en Caracas red.

Maduro dijo que el presidente venezolano ha pedido información sobre la situación económica y política del país, así como la toma de posesión de los gobernadores electos que tuvieron lugar la semana pasada.

"El presidente tiene una fuerza inmensa y si él está luchando con tal fuerza, nuestra gente debe hacer lo mismo", dijo.

Maduro dijo que Chávez "es consciente de la complejidad de su post-operatorio del Estado", veintiún días después de la cirugía en Cuba.

Desde la llegada de Vice Presidente en La Habana el 29 de noviembre, ha hablado sobre el estado de salud líder socialista, como lo ha solicitado en varias ocasiones.

"Comandante Chávez, nos ha pedido expresamente a mantener a la gente informada siempre con la verdad, por difícil que sea. Presidente está siguiendo sus tratamientos, es una situación compleja y en estos días, ha tenido mejoras luz y situaciones estacionarias" dijo.

"Tenemos la confianza y la fe en Dios y en los médicos que nuestro Comandante Hugo Chávez seguirá mejorando."

Maduro también exigió el respeto de sectores de derecha que han estado especulando sobre la salud del presidente y le pidió a la gente a vacunarse contra la mentira.

"Los que no saben respetar, no tienen límites. Ese derecho loco piensa que un pueblo no controlados de amor transformado en rabia, puede beneficiarlos. Les pedimos a nuestro pueblo a confiar en los esfuerzos que hacemos. Tenemos fe y esperanza de que Presidente continuará mejorando ", dijo.

El vicepresidente señaló que "el mayor apoyo (para el presidente), además de la oración, es el trabajo: la unidad, la batalla y la victoria", al tiempo que anunció que regresará al país el 2 de enero.
